Going.com launches Charlotte website, announces two trip giveaways

Going.com has been around for a while now, but only in major cities like NYC and San Francisco. They’re a website and social network focused on events, helping people find fun things to do (and perhaps more importantly, good people to do them with).

About two weeks ago, Going launched in a number of new cities around the country, including Charlotte. They’ve got some cool sponsored events in the works to introduce themselves to the Queen City, but in the meantime they’re offering up two very cool, and extremely time-sensitive, contests. These end on Monday, June 9, so you’ve got to act fast.

You also have to register with Going.com to enter, but you should be doing that anyway. Up for grabs are:

a VIP all-expenses-paid trip to Bonnaroo for 2!

Two free roundtrip airline tickets, accommodations, and VIP tickets to Bonnaroo and the official opening party, and Onitsuka Tiger gear including sneakers and a Charlie Bartlett DVD.

You’re up against people from around the country here, but it’s definitely worth a shot. I just entered myself. At the very least, sign up for an account and help them build up their new site with cool local events.
