Google Maps now has transit directions for Charlotte

Posted on 2 Apr 2009 by Justin Ruckman

This is a great feature for anyone who uses Charlotte’s public transit, including the busses and light rail. And perhaps even more useful for those of you who usually don’t (like myself), as you’re unfamiliar with the best routes to take, the operating schedule, and how long your trip would be.

Now in addition to driving and walking directions, you can get public transit directions in Google Maps. Try the search pictured above as an example.

This feature has been active in larger cities for a while now, but was just activated in Charlotte last week.
