Paper, Rock, Scissors roshambeau’s it’s way into Baku Art Gallery — NoDa

Culture Initiative, a grass-roots cultural organization based in Charlotte, NC, announces the Opening Reception for “Rock, Paper, Scissors” on June 3, 2011, 6pm at Baku Art Gallery, 3200 N. Davidson St, Charlotte, NC.

“In honor of a lifestyle and in observation of the mixed arts mediums, Culture Initiative (CI) has put together a showcase unlike anything Charlotte has seen”, says CI Creative Director and Co-Founder, Joel Tracey.  The concept of the gallery show, “Paper, Rock, Scissors”, focuses on mixed media, screen prints, and photography as the creative mediums by shinning a light on Drugs, Sex, and Rock ‘n Roll.  Tracey explains, “Think of a quiet, meditative and well balanced gallery atmosphere; then imagine the utter opposite.”
