Firstly, apologies for the time lapse in getting this recap post together. Enter the first shortcoming of peer journalism: everyone with access to the raw footage being tied up with semester finals. This is something we look forward to overcoming soon.
Regardless, the Olympic Whitewater team trials at the U.S. National Whitewater Center this weekend were fantastic: an excellent event at an impressive local facility. Ask anyone here who went, if you haven’t been yet, you definitely need to go check it out.
If you’re interested in the results of the race, head over to the US Kayak/Canoe website.
For tons of pictures, check the slideshow below, or launch it full screen directly from Flickr (recommended). And thanks to everyone who stopped by our Live page for streaming photos, race updates, and public discussion. We’ll definitely be doing live coverage like this again.
The live coverage was awesome! Chat room, photo feed, twitter stream… It was really cool to keep an eye on the page throughout the weekend, and just fire off a question to you guys, and hear back about what was going on over there. Two thumbs up!
Who was that band? They seemed to be right in the pocket
Taylor, I forget their name, anyone remember?
