I am honored that Obama has chosen Charlotte as one of his last stops prior to becoming our next President of the United States! I won’t miss it!
And for those who have nothing better to do than to post negative comments — go to a McCain website — where your divisive comments are wanted!
Who is PAYING for the expenses related to this visit? UNC Charlotte is a state owned school and its expenses are borne by state taxpayers. Why am I paying the expenses of the campaign of my political opponents???
Hey, I am student that lives on UNC Charlotte’s campus and is enrolled here as a full time student. I must say that our school is truly honored to have Obama come and speak here at our school the day before the election!
It’s truly an honor that Obama is coming to UNCC! I would pay triple taxes to bear the expense of that “burden”!
And dyarbrough have you posted on any military forums expressing your anger at having to pay taxes to fund an illegal, futile war??
@dyarbrough: I’m sure the Obama campaign is footing the weight of the bill, though no doubt this is an opportunity for UNC Charlotte to shine in the national spotlight, and as such I’m sure the school is paying for a lot.
The benefits hosting this event transcend political affiliation though. UNC Charlotte will be on national news as Obama’s last rally before election day. Let’s just hope they don’t call us “UNC”.
What kind of assistance is needed for tomorrow?
UNCC is simply providing the use of their recreational feild and nothing more. everything is being paid for by Obama for America. so dont worry dyarbrough, the scary black man isnt taking any of your tax dollars, so im sure you can still afford to go buy your guns and gas guzzling ford pick-up trucks… while the country slower slips further and further into the shitter…
Judy: I know they at least need help managing lines of people coming in, and breaking down & setting up the stages and equipment. See more in this post.
Its a privilege and honor to have Barack speak to North Carolinians one more time before the big day. Barack is a very intelligent man… This economy cannot take anymore ill-equipped leadership like we experienced the last eight years. Heaven help us if we are under the leadership of someone that can see Russia from their backyard…she’s cute, but not very bright. Palin as a VP choice is a testament to McCain’s poor judgement… not the choice we want to make. Let’s make a smart decision this time.VOTE BARACK!
Both Biden and Obama have made trips in the past month to Charlotte. Where’s McCain’s campain? I guess they dont care about Charlotte’s interest.
Um, why do you not tell a Vet or one of us currently serving in the war that it’s illegal and futile?
I’m sure you would be laughed at. It’s only you liberally minded freaks that think the war is effortless and stupid. It is people like you who do not deserve to live in America, people like you who do not understand the cost of freedom, people like you who are the unpatriotic ones.
People like Jasna are what Obama needs to get into office. It was not an illegal war, seeing as it was backed by the UN, the American people, and we had sufficient Intel that a man who had said time and time again that if he had WMD’s, he would not hesitate to use them on the US, who we gave six months in advance notice* :/. It is not futile because now the people of Iraq have something they had only dreamed of before, freedom , something most Americans take for granted. (A side note: Despite how much old footage the media plays from months ago, there is only one hostile province left. We leave now, there is no reason why Iran wouldn’t just come in and take over with another regime.)
*Sadam had the facilities to produce WMD’s, his own general said they had them, and had shipped them to Syria.
Judy Bull(good name BTW):What poor leadership are you talking about? If it wasn’t for Bush’s policies this nation would be doing much worse. It is a wonder that the economy is still alive after the financial capitol of the world was destroyed, and fighting two wars. It is obvious you have only taken what the liberal media has fed you, and are in the tank for Obama’s socialist regime.
